Young Artist Workshop: New Music for Guitar

Center for New Music’s Young Artist Workshop launches this year with acclaimed guitar group Mobius Trio.
This one-day intensive workshop aims to develop a technical and artistic understanding of contemporary guitar performance for emerging musicians. The activity-packed day will include workshops on specific pieces utilizing contemporary techniques for guitar, four master class slots, discussion on the evolution of music for guitar through analysis of selected works from Mobius Trio’s repertoire, and a collaborative performance with participants and Mobius Trio.
Enrollment is free, but space is limited to 12 participants.
