IDRIS ACKAMOOR & THE PYRAMIDS completed their 7th tour of Europe in December 2013 mesmerizing audiences throughout the continent. The highlight of the tour was the performance at the leading underground music show The Boiler Room in London where the presenter remarked, “One of the most enthralling performances we’ve ever seen!” The band features.
THE PYRAMIDS was co -founded in the summer of 1972 in Paris by Idris Ackamoor and after performances throughout Holland and a cultural odyssey throughout Africa, the group independently produced three albums "Lalibela" (1973), "King of Kings" (1974), and "Birth Speed Merging" (1976).
