Composer, performer, and installation artist
James Fei will present a solo show of The Nerve Meter and Sine of Merit III at CCRMA. Both of these fantastic pieces are based on the interaction of acoustic phenomena with live electronics. Fei is currently Associate Professor of Electronic Art at Mills College and is an extremely active member of the Bay Area music scene. Works by Fei have been performed by the Bang on a Can All-Stars, Orchestra of the S.E.M. Ensemble, MATA Micro Orchestra, and Noord-Hollands Philharmonisch Orkest.
