biggi vinkeloe (sweden) - alto saxophone
phillip greenlief - alto saxophone

Biggi Vinkeloe and Phillip Greenlief have been playing duo for many years and have developed this crazy esp-thing, where you can't tell who is starting the melody and who ends it - sometimes they can't even tell who's who! They are happy to play a short, 20 minute set to open the evening for Inky Lee's beautiful performance of new choreography

Waiting for a passenger / ship to go to sea

In Waiting for a passenger / ship to go to sea, five dancers build complex sonic and visual landscape through physical rigor. The increasing demands on the bodies become palpable through the sounds of the dancers, which reflect the demands of the mundanity of day-to-day life that become salient through the extracted and fractured speeches on the soundtrack. These co-mingling sounds combined with the movement of unrelenting yet vulnerable bodies become immediate and personal.

Cost: $10 - $20, sliding scale
