The Monkey House

With dreamy three-part harmonies, raucous, surf-tinged guitar and more than a bit of tongue in cheek, the East Bay Area’s own alt-country outfit Loretta Lynch’s stirring songs reach the shady grove in all of us. A little tear in your beer, a little knife in the back –

Save the date! Loretta Lynch will be celerating our 15 year anniversary, oh my! More details coming soon, and for now, we are excited to share the stage with the ever charming Special Ghosts!
Special Ghosts, the acoustic ensemble of paranormal investigators Andy Cowitt, Suki O'Kane, Isabel Samaras, and Michael Wertz, made their debut three years ago as a trio in rustic Port Costa, wowing the crowd at the certainly not haunted Burlington Hotel with their ukulele-and-vocal renditions of mostly unpopular 60's, 70’s, and 80’s classics composed by mostly dead people. This year, they welcomed Suki and her toy drums into the combo, enabling the Ghosts to reach new heights of ramshackle joy with their curated covers and catchy originals.

The Monkey House is an intimate art space with unusually good acoustics.
