Join Phonochrome for Sunday coffee and a musical exploration of censorship in solidarity with Banned Books Week. This thoughtful and creative program features works by notably blacklisted artists Aaron Copland and Dorothy Parker, controversial songs made famous by Billie Holiday and Maya Angelou, and music inspired by banned literature such as Alice in Wonderland and Pierre Louys' sensual Chansons de Bilitis, among others.
