Sean Hamilton

Sean is a percussionist, composer, and improviser based in Tampa, Florida. I will perform a solo drum set and electronics project.

This project features improvised compositions for solo drum set and electronics written to explore the symbiotic possibilities of acoustic and electronic sound. It has been featured throughout the United States and in the United Kingdom, on WKCR-FM New York's Afternoon New Music, at the University of South Florida Contemporary Art Museum, the Orlando Fringe Festival, the Anxious Sound Series in New Orleans, and at the 2017 SEAMUS (Society for Electro-Acoustic Music in the United States) National Conference. It has also been featured at colleges and universities including the University of Michigan, New York University, California State University Long Beach, and the University of Leeds.
