ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Thomas Strønen’s Time is a Blind Guide is a true chamber music ensemble performing compelling compositions that draw lines from traditional folk to contemporary music. Consisting of some of Europe’s finest jazz musicians, the quintet combines three elements important to Strønen’s writing—a string trio, a piano trio, and sometimes a percussion ensemble. Time is a Blind Guide fulfills the delicate balance between challenging and captivating the audience with textures, sounds, and beautiful melodies.
