Eli had a few former lives, as a skronk guitarist, a jazz bass player, an electronic music nerd, and an improv venue impresario (he co-founded and ran the Sweat Shop in San Francisco in the late '90s). He now spends most of his time as a recording engineer at New, Improved Recording in Oakland, and sometimes finds the time to play bass with friends around town.
