Colin StetsonLink to home page : Colin Stetson  Biography: Colin Stetson was born and raised in Ann Arbor Mi. He graduated from the University of Michigan Music School in 1997 and during that time studied with Donald Sinta, Christopher Creviston, and Roscoe Mitchell. You can hear him on multiple Planet e record releases with DJ Recloose and with the Detroit band Larval on Knitting Factory Records.After moving to the bay area in the summer of 98, Colin has been steadily performing with the band 'Transmission', the 'Peoples Bizarre' (eastern European folk), the electro-acoustic 'Connector', as well as many solo appearances. Work-In-Progress: Stetson's first solo effort is in the works and should be out by the fall.Transmission will also be releasing new material around that time. CDs on which Colin Stetson appears:
