The multi-instrumental duo of Agnes Szelag and Marielle Jakobsons uses graphic scores, improvisation, and live electronics to perform an evening of songs often inspired by their common Baltic heritage.

Bio: Myrmyr creates electroacoustic songs on many instruments, such as the violin, cello, voice, bass, guzheng, piano, and accordion. When those instruments aren't enough, they invite friends to play with them and write scores for conducted improvisations. Equally at home in the studio as on their instruments, they combine experimental recording techniques, production, and MAX/MSP patches. Their scores are often conceptually or process driven, resulting in their own unique style of electroacoustic music, reminiscent of Scandinavian freefolk, lullabies, dramatic film scores, electronic and improvised myusic. Both Agnes and Marielle recieved their MFAs from Mills in Electronic Music in 2006.
