Dean Santomieri (concept, music & spoken word) and Christina Braun (dance and voice) will team with musicians Rae Diamond and Joe Kuta, to explore a ritual aspect of collaborative performance. The evening will feature three dances with live music, including the first performance of The Crane in the Scroll, a meditation on antique scroll paintings. Additional pieces include the spoken word.

Lifelong dancer Christina Braun's choreography with collaborating composers has been presented regularly since 2002. Her project SF Butoh LAB has produced Butoh Dance symposia, performances, workshops, and festivals.

Dean Santomieri is an improvisational guitarist and spoken word artist. In addition to solo work, he regularly performs with violinist Thea Farhadian in the Santomieri-Farhadian Duo, and Ghost in the House.
