Located on the Free music stage at the San Jose Jazz Summer Fest, on South 1st Street adjacent to The Fairmont. The Neo Jazz Men - Charles "The Xman" Xavier and Clifford "CB3" Brown III - will perform experimental arrangements of abstract and augmented voicings created through electronica, percussion and trumpet. The sets will feature new arrangements of jazz standards and original compositions written by Xavier during his tenure with Satori. Regarded for their high level of creativity and new interpretations, the pieces from the Satori catalog are influenced by Chick Corea, Miles Davis and Keith Jarrett. Expect the unexpected from these two jazz veterans who are unfraid to leap over music boundaries to take listeners through new and adventuresome soundscapes.
