Duo Jones Feona/Staiano Moe! is a duo comprising of pianist Feona Lee Jones, and drummer Moe! Staiano. Performing one one one for the first time, Feona and Moe will play a set of somewhat structured foundations with room for improvisation, which eventually comes back to the structured form, leading into somewhat of a full circle. Both Feona and Moe will play on conventional instruments that will also be prepared (prepared piano/implement), bringing unconventional sounds, and leading listeners to the unexpected and new.

Peter Kuhn, born in the San Fernando Valley and raised in L.A., Kuhn started working in the Bay Area which eventually led him to New York at the invitation of Anthony Braxton in the mid-’70s, where he played with violinist Billy Bang, trumpeter Lester Bowie, and bassist William Parker. He recorded several albums as bandleader, including the 1981 collector’s item Ghost of a Trance on the Swiss record label Hat Hut.
Later after returning to San Deigo California Kuhn works with drummer Nathan Hubbard, and has toured with a group of L.A., San Francisco, and New York improvisers under the rubric of Dependent Origination.
