Francis Wong (saxophone) for an evening of live jazz and reflection on 30 years of music and activism. Combining radical politics, community organizing, and virtuosic musicianship, Asian Improv aRts has given form to cultural progression through three decades of creative music. AIR enters its fourth decade as one of the jewels of the Bay Area's new music scene -- join us in honoring their achievements at this special event, the proceeds of which will benefit the Center for New Music.
