John Zorn's 65th Birthday Celebration
We are EXTREMELY pleased to announce that on September 1st-4th, we will be hosting a very special 4 night, six show residency at The Chapel in honor of John Zorn’s 65th birthday!
Zorn has called upon some of the best musicians in the world to join him, including John Medeski, Mike Patton, Secret Chiefs 3, Cyro Baptista, Erik Friedlander, Brian Marsella and Cleric among many others, to recreate works from his numerous outfits including Masada, Bagatelles, The Interpretation Of Dreams and more.
This four-day retrospective includes music from the 3 Masada books, the new book of Bagatelles, Simulacrum and new classical concert music for violin, cello, piano, vibes and rhythm section – and much of the music is being presented on the West Coast for the first time!
