The Music of Alice Coltrane Redux / Get Out the Vote

Guitarist Karl Evangelista and keyboardist Rei Scampavia (sometimes known as Grex) revisit pieces from Alice Coltrane's seminal album Journey in Satchidananda. The pair invoke electronic textures and expansive improvisational ideas to offer a reworking of Coltrane's material that is both fresh and suitably ethereal.

In commemoration of this event, all digital releases on grex.bandcamp.com, including Grex's recently released "Everything You Said Was Wrong", are Name-Your-Price.

*100% of Grex's Bandcamp proceeds will be directed to Milford Graves + Black Organizing Project in Oakland.*

**Grex encourages you to invest your time, energy, and money in your voting plan. At this most critical time, please support music - and actions - of conscience.**  More...
