Window/Door/River:
Based on a four panel graphic score done by Bob Marsh in conjunction with a dance class by Anna Halprin in 2012, this phase of a multi-national project involves site specific interactions with window, door and river settings in both actual and metaphorical dimensions. For example, the river usually refers to the flow of people and vehicles and sounds in the background. The performance on Thursday July 10 will be the fourth location for the Marsh/King collaboration. Other realizations of this score can be found at http://windowdoorriver.bandcamp.com/

Thea Farhadian is an interdisciplinary artist and performer based in the San Francisco Bay Area and Berlin. Her projects include solo violin and interactive electronics, improvisation, laptop performance, sound art, and video. Thea’s work has been seen internationally in venues in Berlin, London, Armenia, San Francisco, and New York.

Guitarist Dean Santomieri composes and improvises using electric resonator guitars. He also regularly performs as a spoken word artist. In addition to his solo and duo work he has been associated with the groups: Donkey Boy; Malcolm Mooney & the 10th Planet; I Franzen, Ghost in the House and the Cornelius Cardew Choir.

OA
... is an electronic music collaboration between writer Hugh
Behm-Steinberg and experimental musician Matt Davignon. Using CDs,
tapes and samples of a small-but-growing number pool of speakers, Oa
breaks spoken language down to abstract sound elements, which are then
recombined into stream-of-conciousness musical passages and textures.
