2:00 Joey Molinaro will perform a series of short improvisations, works composed for him by others, and new original compositions on violin

Joey Molinaro has been aggressively touring since 2010, performing his unique style of angular violin composition and improvisation to diverse crowds at metal shows, art galleries, basement psychedelic freak-outs, acoustic punk radical spaces, and other eclectic venues. Primarily using a stripped-down setup of amplified violin and foot percussion, Molinaro reveals both his classical training and immersion in new extreme musical languages through intense technical yet visceral performance.
