Ben Goldberg School. Clarinetist
Ben Goldberg attempts to gain the upper hand, and the lower hand, in this concert featuring new arrangements of previously-forgotten melodies and a little something for every taste. With the beautiful mysterious beauty of
Kasey Knudsen on alto saxophone, Jeff Cressman on trombone,
rob reich on accordion and piano, David Ewell on bass, and Hamir Atwal on drums.
Erika Oba Trio will be the Youth Showcase. Merging their backgrounds in Western classical music, jazz, electronic music, and experimental improvisation, the Oba/Bastian/Salomon trio explores loosely structured improvisations and collaborative compositions. Erika Oba on piano, Ben Salomon on drums, and Chris Bastian on bass.
