The Dirty Snacks Ensemble is an instrumental music ensemble was formed by Oakland based vibraphonist/composer
Mark Clifford in early 2011. For the Snacks, Clifford writes music that explores different ways to honor his influences which run the gamut from Kool Keith to Bela Bartok, and tries to find the balance between using long form compositional structures while still giving musical freedom to his immensely talented ensemble.
