Thea Farhadian is an interdisciplinary artist and performer based in the San Francisco Bay Area and Berlin. Her projects include solo violin and interactive electronics, improvisation, laptop performance, sound art, and video.
Amy X Neuburg is known for her "avant-cabaret" songs for voice and electronics, her innovative works for chamber ensembles, and her multi-style four-octave vocal range. Her improvisations incorporate movement, theater, made-up languages and small soundmaking devices.
As an improvising duo, Amy and Thea have performed at a number of Bay Area creative music venues. They have a natural chemistry and always enjoy inspiring each others' playfulness and inventiveness.
