Sarah Cahill - A Piano Party for Terry Riley at 80

To celebrate the eightieth birthday of maverick composer-pianist Terry Riley (on June 24th), Sarah Cahill performs new works she has commissioned in tribute to Riley, including the West Coast premieres of Evan Ziporyn's You Are Getting Sleepy, Christine Southworth's Sparkita and Her Kittens, and Elena Ruehr's In C Too, along with Danny Clay's Circle Songs, Samuel Carl Adams' Shade Studies, Pauline Oliveros' A Trilling Piece for Terry, Gyan Riley's Poppy Infinite, and Dylan Mattingly's YEAR, as well as a few pieces by Terry Riley himself.
