Matt Ingalls & Ken Ueno
Witness first-hand the entanglement of two skyrmions in a space roughly the size of the Large Hadron supersaturated vapor chamber. Ken Ueno is a composer, vocalist, and sound artist of elemental force whose sequester in faculty quarters at UC Berkeley will be breached when he steers into the path of Matt Ingalls, clarinetist, computer music programmer, and thaumaturge.

Julia Mazawa & Oakland
Always already collaborating, Julia Mazawa is an improviser, illustrator, sculptor and recordist who lives life with play and record buttons both mashed flat. On this night, she lifts us into the canopy of sound encountered at the storm drains, corners, and treetops of downtown Oakland, her constant collaborator.

dyemark & Maat Valkyr
Blending the classical sounds of Tenor Ukulele and Sitar, dyemark is pleased to share the stage with Maat Valkyr. Together they explore the rich sonic landscape of these two traditional instruments through classic composition, improvisation, and new work. dyemark is Steven Dye, his ukelele performances were featured at the 2012 Melbourne Ukulele Festival, and ShapeShifters Cinema in Oakland. Maat Valkyr has studied Sitar in Varanasi, Manhattan and San Francisco. He also plays the Veena, Bansuri, Bin and sings.

Gerritt Wittmer & Paul Knowles
Not seen since their amazing 2011 performance at the Berkeley Art Museum, this singularly confounding duo can extinguish sound and set fire to silence. No use guessing what may happen on this eve, but bring a thermometer to prove to yourself you aren't running a hallucinatory fever.
