A BORNDAY TRIBUTE TO AMY WINEHOUSE AND NAS
September 14th marks the birthday of two contemporary musical legends: Amy Winehouse and Nasir Jones, better known as Nas. Winehouse and Jones revolutionized their respective genres of R&B and Hip-Hop and, as destiny would have it, came together to collaborate in Ms. Winehouse's final years. To celebrate the late Amy Winehouse and Nas, an ensemble of local vocalists, scholars, emcees, musicians and poets will be performing a tribute medley accompanied by a live band and DJ.
The event will be filmed and broadcast in HD and streamed live on bcmtv.org!
