A music concert featuring visionary cellist-vocalist Madigan Shive and an exclusive excerpt from the in-progress documentary about her life and music, Whisper Rapture: A Bonfire Madigan Suite by filmmaker Ken Paul Rosenthal. Shive will perform unreleased selections from her highly anticipated forthcoming album, Covert Constellations. Rosenthal’s lyrical music and mental health ‘doc-opera’ chronicles Shive’s transformative journey from traumatized youth to virtuoso musician and pioneering mental health activist. Fellow travelers in the radical mental health movement, Shive and Rosenthal’s work offers new maps for navigating madness with insight, healing, and hope.
