8pm: Beast Nest (Sharmi Basu - electronics)
9pm: Bloop-Quack - modular competency and fluidity over an undercurrent of tonal shifts and glacial movement w/Doug Lynner and R Duck

Beast Nest is Sharmi Basu's primary performing project. She utilizes an unwavering depression & restrained horror to channel left-eyed spirits. While simultaneously clearing and entering, the sewage pipes of the body and the patriarchy congeal into watery soundscapes as a vehicle for achieving liberation through the darkest of fears.

Bloop Quack is comprised of Modular Synth Master Doug Lynner and Live Radio Music Sculptor R Duck. The collaboration focuses on their unique strengths with modular synthesis and processed guitar. Their performances are timbrally rich, premeditated, sonic object oriented improvisations.

"If you type "Bloop-Quack" into a Google search box, it will tell you about long-mysterious oceanic sounds that have recently been tracked down to Antarctic icebergs calving (the Bloops) and Minke whales calling one another (the Quacks.)" - Tom Duff

Cost: $6-15 sliding
