This concert will feature two noise improv duos:
Ken Ueno and
Matt Ingalls + sinecure (Luke Martin and Ben Levinson).
sinecure is an new LA-based noise improv duo interested in exploring noise at its dynamic extremes – as extremely quiet and extremely loud – while also integrating fragmented pieces of pop culture, finding new sounds, and using silence in its work.
This concert will consist of a set by sinecure, a set by
Ken Ueno and
Matt Ingalls, and will conclude with an improv by all four musicians.
