ECHO Chamber Orchestra Returns for Second Season
New Year’s Opener: Music by Tchaikovsky, Stravinsky, Yariv, and Revueltas

ECHO Chamber Orchestra will return after a successful first season for a New Year’s Opener on Sunday, January 31st, at the First Presbyterian Church in San Anselmo at 7:00pm. Led by renowned Argentinean conductor Daniel Canosa, ECHO is comprised of a select group of musicians, most of whom play in other prominent Bay Area orchestras, including the San Francisco Symphony and Ballet, the Marin Symphony, the Santa Rosa Symphony, and the San Jose Opera. A complimentary wine reception will be held immediately following the performance.
The evening’s performance will highlight diverse compositions showcasing each family of instruments: strings, winds, and percussions and will include Tchaikovsky Serenade for Strings, Stravinsky Octet for Wind Instruments, Yariv Gyro for Percussion Instruments, and Revueltas Janitzio
Conductor Daniel Canosa has led orchestras in Argentina, the United States and Europe with performances of symphonic and choral masterworks from all periods. He is the artistic director and conductor of the Apollo Symphony Orchestra, the music director of Marin Baroque, and an active guest conductor with the Auburn Symphony, Veridian Symphony, and the Camilla Symphony Orchestra among others.
