This year’s C4NM Ensemble in Residence, Friction Quartet, will read and workshop up to six works for string quartet. The public is welcome to sit on this exciting connection between composers, performers, and new works.
Composers may submit up to five minutes of music for this opportunity, and will receive 20-30 minutes of time with the quartet, and a recording of the entire session. For works longer than five minutes in duration, composers should indicate which section they’d like considered. Please submit to brent@centerfornewmusic.com. Submission deadline February 12.
All composers may submit their works free of charge. C4NM members who are chosen may participate free of charge. Non-members who are chosen will be required to pay a $25 fee.
