Adam Marks: De Profundis

To kick off his role as curator at the SF Center for New Music, New York pianist will present a solo recital showcasing a wide variety of sounds and styles. The program will include Jason Charney’s Compass (2011), Andy Akiho’s Karakurenai (2007), selections from Ted Hearne’s Parlor Diplomacy (2011), Lia Cimaglia’s Tango 70 (1975), and Frederic Rzewski’s landmark work for speaking pianist with text from Oscar Wilde, De Profundis (1992).
