The great flute player Jane Rigler returns to the bay area and to the dinner/concert series for the first time in several years. Assistant professor of music at University of Colorado, Colorado Springs has redeveloped new techniques for flute with voice, creating multiple layers of textures and pitchers in her solo performances.
This is Jane's second appearance on my dinner/concert series and we have collaborated on stage many times in the past as well. Good chance i will pull out a shakuhachi for a duet on this one!
4 courses of gourmet cuisine, based around the early cherry harvest will be presented.
