Forest Management is John Daniel, an American musician currently living and working in Chicago, Illinois. The project was created in 2011 in Daniel’s hometown of Westlake, Ohio, with the installation of a recording work for the Walter R. Schuele Planetarium. Since 2014, Forest Management has released music on labels such as Constellation Tatsu, Amethyst Sunset, and Lillerne, and has toured and collaborated with a number of different artists including Earthen Sea, LXV, Skin Graft, and Celer. Daniel also manages and curates the music and film label Sequel, which focuses on short film DVDs and limited CD editions.

Felisha Ledesma is an interdisciplinary artist and organizer based in Portland, Oregon. Ledesma is the Director of S1, an artist run space that focuses on experimental sound, critical contemporary art, and access to education through programs such as the Synth Library – the first ever of its kind. Through the Synth Library and other resources, S1 is able to provide engaging and low-cost workshops, open gear use hours, and artist-in-residence programs all within the framework of non-traditional learning environments that focus on skill-sharing and co-learning. In her personal practice, Ledesma creates cathartic and minimal sound collages using field recordings, synthesizers, tapes, and voice.
