Join us for Adobe's monthly music series!
This month we have some of the Bay Area's, nay, the world's best improvisors, experimental acoustic, amplified, electronic composer/performers ("..how dare he!") in the intimate setting you've come to know and love at Adobe Books on a early Friday eve (note, 7:30pm, perfect for after work!) make these dark days a bit brighter in cosy company at Adobe Books!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Finalizing the evening off with Thoabath, A.C. Way's bodily caterwaul processed through tunnels and chains and chords and wires and hallways and sewer pipes and steam heat pipes and cables and boxes and smoke stacks and signal paths that lead to speaker cones that hurl heat seeking vibes through airborne particles to effect your bodily cat-walls and like an Ouroboros boomerang cause a room sized feed back loop. Or something like that.
On third/second-to-last we have the quartet of KOKUO! you've oohed and awed about all these performers apart, now see/hear them create the oral equivalent of an joint action painting in this tile and book spine chamber! Reverberate in the splendor of broken robot butler/hit man percussion, whack trumpet with hot plate synth, wither zither, and clarinet for (end) days.
also! also!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On second we have Greg Gorlen threading his wisps of 1/4 inch tape, building new sonic structures, aural buildings, phonic mess halls, sensatory sounding societies!

also! also! also!

Starting off the night with FiLTHMiLK! Self described as "The Kim and Thurston of mekpunk" let's hope they've made up and play together as Erich and Colleen regale us with their raga-istic cello/synth inaugural for thee evening!
