WINDOWPAIN INDUSTRIES is an on again/off again musical project perpetrated by Stephen Abbate. Starting in the 1990s with home recordings on cassettes he gave to friends and a couple of vinyl releases, and then continuing in the mid 2000s with occasional live performances usually featuring guitar abuse oscillated textures and/or recorded soundscapes replicating the sounds of pain in the brain and snakes on a plane of existence.

If you never got to see Fat Worm of Error, well, I’m sorry, but you definitely don’t want to miss this set too. A true gem, I can’t emphasize enough how inspiring and high-caliber the band with the long name we all hesitate to pronounce. Must-see 2018!
