Gabby Wen:
Gabby Wen (b. 1995) is a sound/performance artist based in San Francisco who works with code, modular synthesizer, homemade electronics, field recording, guqin (Chinese seven-stringed zither), amplified found objects, body & more.

SKY1E:
Scy1e (‘Sighwonee”) is a new direction for Raub Roy, formerly known as Horaflora. Electronic in nature, the character of Scy1e is more supple, more simpatico, than that of Horaflora. This music deals in interrelated cycles, or Relabi; “the self-erasing pulse”. Field recordings mingle with limping, stately, rhythms, together forming a rich community of sound. Raub has performed electroacoustic noise music as horaflora since 2005. He, with partner Dianne Lynn, founded Weird Ear Records, a record label reveling in disparate forms of experimental music. Their slogan, “The Weird Ear, The Better,” serves as a guideline to the curatorial themes across all of these projects. Raub is from Western Mass. but has lived in the Bay Area since 2007.

Jack Hertz:
Inspired by the mystery of life. I have been working with sound to create intangible impressions between music and noise for more than 30 years. My first experiments with sound began with analog tape reel machines, cassettes, microphones, and percussion. My first real experience was with the Alpha Syntauri digital synthesizer system that was was hosted by an Apple IIe PC. The advanced, at the time, concepts exposed me to the universe of sound design. Today, I am working to develop a sonic middle ground between the real and the artificial. Designing unique spaces and atmospheres a listener can explore though sound.
