EKG
Forged in the hot coals of Chicago’s mid-90s experimental scene, Ernst Karel & Kyle Bruckmann sculpt a bizarre organic soundworld of sizzling, sudden then creeping textures, elusive feints toward melody, and microscopic noise. After a timespace dislocation of ten years, EKG reunite inside the Peacock Lounge, Karel's work having moved in the direction of reality-based audio and experimental nonfiction cinema while Bruckmann only dives deeper into the awkward liminal chasm between contemporary "classical" oboe and underground noise.

Transient
Eye-O hybrid-kit drummer and sound designer, Kevin Woodruff, joins multi-multiinstrumentalist David Molina for a collaborative duo that flies using neither map nor chart, ascending toward drone ambience only to plummet into noise, doom, industrial or free improv. All this while still assembling the plane as it hurtles across the night sky.

Grotesque
Randylee Sutherland and Aimee Hamel’s group, Grotesque, formed in 2018. Performances are either a large ensemble or as a duo mainly composed of Strings, Hand Percussion, Tapes, Reeds and Vocals. Find out how things can get much darker than just eyes-closed, you just need the courage to let Grotesque fill your ears.

Noriegas
Berkeley's worst noise rock band! With more than thirty releases, supergroup Noriegas wage a calming war on your icy-hot mind. Come swoon for your favorite Noriega: Diego, Emmerich, Brad, David, or Joyo but you must pick only one.
