Studio 1510 presents Biggi Vinkeloe,
Scott R. Looney and
Donald Robinsonthe brilliant sax/flute player from Sweden is returning for an extended teaching stay in the Bay Area, and we get to benefit! this evening's entertainment features a new trio project with Biggi,
Scott R. Looney on piano and the always-amazing drumming of
Donald Robinson on drums. the group's concept is inspired by Feldman-like expanses of space but with power and drive to explore varying densities and ringing specular timbres.
Opening for the trio will be Virtual Assembly with
Jim Ryan on flute, Bob Marsh on cello and newcomer Eli Wallace on piano.
Cost: $6-10 sliding scale
