This has been in the works for some time and is not to be missed! Re:Sound invites you to a perfect September afternoon at the munitions depot where four artists will go toe-to-toe with the slabs of resonance in A-168. We might just levitate the building this time.
Tickets are available here: https://www.ticketriver.com/event/21063
With each advance ticket purchased we'll throw in a free food or drink ticket.

Re:sound is an experimental audio visual series, started by Jen Boyd which explores the relationship between forgotten spaces, the natural environment, and sound abstraction. The series takes place on the Mare Island Shoreline Heritage Preserve, a 215-acre park that formerly served as one of the first Naval Ammunition Depots. The performances take place in a decommissioned concrete munitions storage magazine measuring 55’ x 100. The architecture of the building traps sound resulting in a prolonged reverberation.
Special thanks to Myrna Hayes, volunteer preserve manager, without whom none of this would be possible. Thank you for giving us a place to listen and create.
