MUSIC RESEARCH STRATEGIES presents 'Simultaneous Multi-Dimensionality #2,' a performing-ethnomusicology & political education duo percussion performance featuring South African instrument-builder, Creative Musician and painter, Moguawane Mahloele & Marshall Trammell. The duo inaugurate a collaborative instrument-building/teaching apprenticehip and will perform the 'Simultaneous Multi-Dimensionality' practicum.

Simultaneous Multi-Dimensionality is a Creative Music series from Indexical Moment/um, an research residency at Prelinger Library, San Francisco.

Mogauwane Mahloele was born in Storomo and raised in Mamelodi ya Tshwane, South Africa. He is accomplished in both the making and playing of African (Alkebulan) drums, entoros (mouth harps), dipelas (kalimbas), nakas, flutes, sekeres and makhoyames (bowed instruments with gourd resonators." He is also a sculptor and painter. (
