Lorin Benedict is an improvising vocalist (scat singer, essentially) living in Oakland. He attempts to introduce more structurally involved elements into the field of vocal improvisation.

Composer/performer Tom Bickley (vocals, recorders, electronics) is based in Berkeley, CA and Houston, Texas, studied Gregorian chant, other medieval music, and African American sacred music.
