An evening of cutting-edge Bay Area sounds and songs, featuring incendiary art rock duo Grex and indie/experimental band Two Aerials.

In biological terms, a “grex” is an entity composed of several smaller organisms. Grex (the band) explores the meeting point between the raw power of psychedelia, garage rock, and industrial hip-hop and the dark outer reaches of noise and free jazz. Grex features Karl Evangelista & Rei Scampavia.

Two Aerials (Crystal Pascucci + Mark Clifford, w/Brett Carson & Jordan Glenn) features song-based, rhythmic compositions with voice, cello, vibraphone, and electronic underpinnings. The band’s sweet, complex song structures embody many genres of musical expression with ease.

Cost: $5-10 sliding scale
