Silvia Mattheus
Mattheus is an internationally accomplished electronic music composer who has been composing with computers and electronics since the early 1980. She studied composition under the direction of Hans Koellreutter in Sao Paulo, Brazil. In the early eighties she built music scores/controllers made of glass etched with conductive painting that interfaced with electronic instruments with the score acting as a controller. Matheus' main focus is on interactive improvisation with computers, electronics, and instrumental ensemble. She has composed music for multi-media projects, video, film, audio installations and radio plays featured on the ICMA label and at festivals worldwide.

Ypsmael
An electroacoustic performance project originating in England in the late 2000s, Ypsmael crafts textural washes of sound without a computer or presets of any kind. Sonic artifacts and audio detritus are derived from an array of instruments, live electronics, bent and amplified objects and sometimes field recordings. Ypsmael has collaborated with or performed solo in support of the late Dieter Moebius (Cluster), Damo Suzuki (Can), Simon Whetham, Nate Young & Mike Connelly (Wolf Eyes, Failing Lights), Jack Wright, Crank Sturgeon, I’d M Thfft Able, Circuit des Yeux, Emptyset and many more.

Headlights
Your trip through the looking windshield begins without warning, nibbling conversations halt as your limbic system throws a gasket. Pupils useless, muscles frozen, you're all ears in the moment of your slow mow down. Twin luminaries, Headboggle and Aurora Josephson, welcome you into the cockpit, singing and stroking glass from your fur, whisking you away to wherever the hell we're going next while you lick your nose and try to still your bleeding heart.

Disko Szamanka
In the spirit of sincere inquiry, outfitted with audio equipment, ink and paper, a hard drive full of sound samples painstakingly compiled, with the hope of uncovering what lies behind the metaphysical mechanical stairway, Disko Szamanka walks a path of life inquiry, building an aesthetic, based on an analysis in the hopes of sharing esoteric experience with community. Disko Szamanka is the project of Madeleine Boyne and Theresa Currie, both San Francisco based visual, radio and sound artists.
