Three of SF's older-school experimental/new music purveyors, performing adventurous compositions. The music constantly evolves from thin soundscapes to heavy improvisational dialogues

Insecticidal howls from another dimension translated by mere humans. Our music has been described as lacking depth, being exceedingly heady, and often containing an element of intense emotional release as performed by the trio's overly narcissistic members. Good luck to all of you, and fasten those seat belts. There's no drug to un-hear this. Santa Muerte's dreams are infused with our soundtrack. Feel Us? Ok. Stop feeling us.

VR Quartet Duo: Two musicians, 4 saxophones and more!
Rent Romus is a saxophonist/multi-instrumentalist, composer, bandleader, music producer, and community leader hailed by Downbeat as having "...a bold sound, unmistakable sincerity and conviction". A third generation Finnish American born in the great north of upper Michigan and growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area, Romus' work on the saxophone beginning in 1988 has been dubbed “ferocious” by the San Francisco Weekly and “central to the creative music world of the West Coast” by writer jazz critic Frank Rubolino.
John Vaughn is a founding member of COMA. He is currently involved in a recording project with COMA and playing with as many creative people as possible. He has performed in groups ranging from concert and jazz bands, pit orchestras to improvisations groups of all types. He is often playing in Sacramento with the Gambari Arts Ensemble led by Adam Jenkins or at Old Ironsides with Ross Hammond and Tony Passerell. John is focused on making the central Valley of California into a friendly place for improvising and experimental musicians.
