STEVE BLUM

Steve Blum: solo synth

Steve Blum's solo act draws on a lifetime of various influences as a keyboardist and pianist, and channels them through a unique and subtle sound palette of synthesizers. Performing unreleased music and pieces from his recent release, Landscapes, Steve uses MIDI sequencing and looping to create delicate interlocking polyrhythms and build droning ambient sound sculptures with melodies bursting from the texture. The result is music that is both heavily minimal and maximal.
