Uri Caine, piano

Caine is a New York pianist who draws inspiration from the classical and jazz camps. His recent CDs have transformed the music of Bach or Mahler into an amalgam of driving jazz piano and experimental improv/noise. He's also released several straight jazz albums on the JMT and Winter & Winter labels.
