A native of Florida, Ryan Pate is an increasingly in demand guitarist in the jazz and creative music scene in New York and San Francisco. In 2006 Ryan was accepted into the Masters program at Manhattan School of Music, where he had the opportunity to study with numerable jazz greats. Ryan is a forward thinking musician within the tradition of jazz. His clear, warm tone, lyrical phrasing, and adventurous harmonic palette distinguish him as a modern jazz artist to watch in the coming years. As a composer, Ryan strives to incorporate diverse influences and interests into his music such as contemporary classical, pop, and folk music, while remaining in the jazz tradition and centered around improvisation. Ryan has performed his compositions at prestigious jazz festivals throughout the world including Jazz A` Vienne, Umbria Jazz and the Montreaux Jazz festival.

Andrew Jamieson is dedicated to spiritual transformation through his work as a pianist, keyboardist, composer and arranger. With a passion for black gospel music, he plays for faith communities including City of Refuge UCC in Oakland and serves as Minister of Music at Bethel Community Presbyterian Church in San Leandro. With a passion for free improvisation and experimentation, he plays in bay area improvisational groups, including Ell3 and Nine Fingers, and he completed a Master's of Arts in music composition at Mills College. Working to integrate these musical traditions, he composed the avant-gospel chamber opera Heaven Down Here meditating on the story of Jim Jones' Peoples Temple, and is working on an album of experimental piano arrangements of African American spirituals.
