TThe Sibarg Ensemble performs a house concert in the intimate setting of a private home in the Berkeley Hills. The ensemble uses the phrase "creative intercultural music" to describe their interweaving of traditional Iranian music with improvisation from the jazz tradition. The ensemble will combine original composition with arrangements of traditional Persian melodies, folksongs, poetry and structured improvisations.
