Trumpet player, band leader and philosopher Dave Douglas leads Engage in a West Coast workout at the Mitchell Park Community Center El Palo Alto Room, exactly 250 years after Portola of Spain discovered El Palo Alto The Tree, 125 years after Palo Alto was incorporate, 25 after Mark Weiss founded Earthwise Productions and five years after We The People opened The Mitch.
The band is celebrating a new cd. Carmen Rothwell joins the core group, on bass.
