Anita Chandavarkar, flute
Anita Chandavarkar is a classically trained flutist who has been exploring the realm of new music for the past decade. She has given Chicago premieres of many new works such as those of Salvatore Sciarrino, Tristan Murail, and New York-based composer Jason Eckardt. More recently, she has been exploring free improvisation in the vibrant Oakland/Berkeley scene. Anita received her Bachelor of Music degree from Northwestern University, and her Master of Music degree from the New England Conservatory of Music. Her former flute teachers include Lincoln Center Chamber Music Society Founding Artist Member Paula Robison, and former Piccolo of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Walfrid Kujala.

Andrew Barnes Jamieson, piano
With a passion for gospel music, Andrew plays for City of Refuge, UCC in Oakland, California. With a passion for free improvisation and experimentation, he created the polytonal "Ives Band," and the jazz/gospel-oriented "Trouble Ensemble." He strives to integrate these musical streams through improvisation and creative composition.
